Mirrabooka Granny Flat

Based on the Paperbark Design - Built 2017.

This modern Mirrabooka house features an angled roof, brick and white facade, large windows, and outdoor lighting. Nestled among trees with a paved patio area, it offers tranquility. Ideal for families or those seeking extra space with potential for a cozy granny flat addition.

Loving our Paperbark design but needing an extra bedroom, this client knew exactly what their vision was going to be.

The result… a Perth based, New York loft style Granny Flat, the Hallmark way.

Now that’s a mouthful.

With exposed brick to the main living area, which is double storey for maximum ‘loft’ effect, and some more exposed brick in the bathroom creates such a vibe with minimal expense. Industrial lighting, white walls and a ‘concrete’ style kitchen bench also lend itself to the loft vision we were trying to capture.

Adding a second bedroom to the original Paperbark design wasn’t a problem and also allowed for an added storage room.

Ask and you shall receive.

Modern kitchen and living area with a brick accent wall, large windows, stove, and counter with a fruit bowl. A cozy sofa defines the seating area, perfect for Mirrabooka gatherings or as an inviting Granny Flat space.

This cozy Granny Flat bedroom in Mirrabooka boasts a double bed with a patterned duvet, two wooden bedside tables with lamps, a white sliding door closet, an air conditioning unit, and a small window with blinds.

Modern bathroom in a Mirrabooka granny flat featuring a brick accent wall, bathtub, glass-enclosed shower, white cabinetry, toilet, and frosted window.

This cozy granny flat in Mirrabooka features a living room with brick walls, large windows adorned with blinds, a brown leather sofa and ottoman, and a wooden cabinet. The minimal decor adds a touch of simplicity to this inviting space.

The Granny Flat boasts a rustic charm with its brick walls, two hanging light bulbs, and a window adorned with blinds. A cozy wooden desk displays a potted plant and globe, providing an inviting touch of Mirrabooka elegance through the carefully curated decorative items.

Modern house with flat roof and brick accents in Mirrabooka. Large windows and exterior lights enhance its charm. Steps lead up to the entrance of this stylish home, which also features a cozy granny flat. The sky appears cloudy in the background, adding a moody touch.

We had a superb experience when Mark and his team built a custom designed garage and upstairs ancillary accommodation from our drafted plans. The project was delivered quite quickly in a very tight access space with minimal disruption to our backyard. Nothing was too much trouble as we changed a few things during the build. The tradespeople were all lovely, trustworthy, quality and professional. We would definitely look to Mark if we were to do a similar build again in the future. Thank you team for a great experience and putting us at ease for what can be a very stressful exercise.

Mark and his team were extremely professional, always keeping us informed and providing honest advice that made the process smooth and worry-free. They were also impressively prompt, completing the project on time without cutting corners. It's rare to find a company that combines such high-quality craftsmanship with transparency and efficiency. A personalized, professional experience during these build works from Mark and his team. What we thought would be a nightmare at the back yard with noise, drilling, digging and more, turned out to be a fun experience with his team as we communicated, chatted, drank coffee or tea on the freezing days and just shared opinions about the growth of the works as they happened.

Mark and team were always open to suggestions and feedback as works progressed, and this made the entire experience smooth running, to deadline, with a super quality finish, exceeding our expectations.. Thanks Hallmark!. Well done- John and Lauretta.
